Concrete and masonry
Clean concrete, brick and block are crushed into aggregate and reused as base material. Keep loads free of wood, rebar mesh and trash to qualify.
Metal
Structural steel, ductwork, appliances, copper and aluminum all have scrap value and are pulled from loads routinely.
Wood
Clean, untreated dimensional lumber can be ground into mulch or biomass fuel. Painted, treated and engineered wood usually cannot.
Cardboard and packaging
On new construction, a dedicated cardboard container often pays for itself in reduced mixed-waste tonnage.
What separation buys you
Separated loads carry lower disposal rates and produce cleaner documentation for projects tracking waste diversion.
