Included tonnage
Most flat rates bundle a weight allowance. Going over it triggers a per-ton overage, which is why heavy debris belongs in a dedicated container.
Debris type
Clean concrete, dirt and shingles are priced differently from mixed household waste because they go to different facilities.
Rental length
Standard rentals run seven to ten days. Extensions are usually a modest daily rate.
Distance and access
Deliveries far outside the Birmingham metro or into difficult sites take longer and can carry a small surcharge.
Getting an accurate number
Describe the project rather than guessing a size, and ask what the quote includes. A number that omits tonnage and pickup is not really a quote.
